Johnson Family Gingersnaps

An easy and delicious spiced cookie from our family to yours. With a flexible bake time for either chewy or crunchy texture, these classic treats are sure to be welcome in any holiday spread.

Requires baking sheet, parchment paper, and hand mixer.

Prep time: 40 minutes.

Bake time: 10-12 minutes.

  • Baking the cookies for 10min will result in soft edges and a chewey center, while 12min will give the cookies a firmer texture with crunchy edges.

  • Raw dough can be stored in fridge 2-3 days or 3-6 months in the freezer in an airtight container or wrapped tightly.

  • To maintain freshness, store baked cookies at room temperature in an airtight container 3-7 days or refrigerate up to two weeks
